Ronald Charles Hansen

Ron was born August 14, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lyle and Genevra Hansen. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Massey Hansen, son Timothy Hansen and wife Cissi, daughter Cyndi Curtis, son Jeffery Hansen; grandchildren Stephanie, Jared, Megan, Jennifer and Jamie; numerous great grandchildren; brother Carlyle Hansen and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by sister Marion Carter and brother Rick Hansen.

Ron served in the US Army Reserve. He attended St. Louis University and worked for Automatic Sprinkler Corporation of America, Earl & Wright Engineers and Dooley Tackaberry, Inc. during his over 35 years in the fire protection industry. He was a past President of the Houston Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers.
