

Ronnie Bert Blomstedt was born on October 17, 1942, in Beeville, Texas. He graduated from Pawnee High School in 1961 and continued his education at Texas Lutheran College, before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Southwest Texas State University in 1965.
On June 18, 1966, Ronnie married the love of his life, Karen Hawke, beginning a devoted marriage that spanned decades.
Following the completion of his college education, Ronnie enlisted in the United States Army, serving honorably from January 1966 until April 1970. During his military service, he attended Officer Candidate School, completed one tour of duty in Vietnam, and was later stationed in Germany. While serving in Vietnam, Ronnie received several distinguished service awards, earning recognition as a decorated war veteran.
After his honorable discharge from the Army, Ronnie worked in the oil and gas industry from 1970 until 1985. He later transitioned into a new chapter of his professional life, completing his career with Pumps of Houston.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Gustaf Blomstedt and Laura Wilhelmina (Gustafson); his stepfather, Carl Emil Cederblom; his brothers, Curtis Eugene Blomstedt and Robert Kent Blomstedt; and his sister, Gladys Loraine Blomstedt.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Hawke) Blomstedt; his son, Kevin Blomstedt and wife Lucy; his daughter, Kimberly Levine and husband David; and his cherished grandchildren, Zackary (and wife Hanna), Hunter, and Taylor Levine, and Nicolas Blomstedt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gateway Church, 2930 Rayford Road, Spring, Texas 77386. Ronnie’s wish was for the gospel of Jesus Christ to continue to be shared through the ministry of his beloved home church.
