I always wanted a big brother and God blessed with me with just that the day, that Soni met Scott. I was eleven years old when they first got together and thought he was the coolest. Just like every “brother and sister”, we had our moments but mostly all of them were filled with laughter and fun. He always made time to talk if I could not find my mom or sister. He was a really good listener. Scott was a wonderful person, amazing friend and awesome bro ‘n’ law. I could not have asked for anyone better for my sister.
I will truly miss him because he was a huge part of my life and of our family.

I am deeply saddened by the news and the loss of a great man. I was so happy to have great neighbors for the time I lived next to you guys. For the birthday parties and baby showers, I was honored to be invited too. Scott always helped me with my lawn, as new single mom at the time...he was GOD sent for me. The love you two shared shined very bright...that love will live on in your beautiful children.  
Soni..I will continue to pray for you and the children for peace, understanding and restoration.

Scott will always be remembered as part of the family, he was the only "gringo" to join the family (thus far) and we loved every aspect of who he was.  His smile, laugh, character will always leave a great memory in our hearts, and our family would not have been complete without knowing him.  

Soni, I can't tell you enough how much we all love you, Emily and Ben.  I love that we have remained close (cousins) even though we are miles away we will always have family.  May you continue to find comfort in knowing that we will all see each other one day.

 Scott was without a doubt the person you wanted with you on convoy. To the family and relatives of Scott "Cornbread" Osborne, thank you for allowing us, the people who worked with Scott, the opportunity to share in his wonderful spirit. He will be missed. He is one of the good ones and will be rememebred by me and so many others that worked with him.

I worked with Scott at ADS in Houston and he came and helped me out of a huge jam in Phoenix.  What a guy.  Worked his butt off, lots of fun to horse around with, and loved Sonia with all his heart.

Sounds like he did us all proud with KBR in Iraq.  He will be missed and I was proud to be one of his friends.

Scott A.K.A Cornbread is the type of person that will never leave your memory. He cared about people more than he did about himself. When I met Cornbread he was a Bobtail taking care of his drivers before anything else. Scott had a huge heart under his strong shoulders that were weighed down by job obligations. Sonia, Emily & Ben, it was always the best feeling for us to look back and see Scott's trademark yellow "grilled" rubber chicken bouncing merrily along the MSR, keeping watch over us all. He was one of the bravest men I have ever known. Your husband and father isn't just missed, rather, respected and loved by many grateful men and brothers you may never meet.  He made a difference. Osborne family, I am very sorry for your loss.  I know it must be especially hard since Scott was with us over seas and you may have missed out on parts of his life. To the Osborne family.  My name is William Lee, and I had the extreme pleasure of working with Scott in Iraq for 2 1/2 years.  Scott was an extremely hard worker, dedicated to his job, and to his friends.  Scott, or as we called him "Cornbread" will be truly missed.  It was a blessing just to know him. Scott was a wonderful part of our family and we will treasure the memories. We shared much laughter (remember our water fights?) and love so we will miss him terribly but a part of him will always be with us through our beautiful grandbabies. We love you -- Little Lady and Pawpaw.
