Skylar Marie Lankford Pokorny

She attended kindergarten at Haude Elementary School in Spring, Texas. She was a vibrant little girl who had an enormous love for life and lived it with such vigor. She loved to sing, dance, play the piano and ride her bike. She loved all things that sparkled and in turn she was a sparkle in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She loved swimming, going to the beach, dressing up, and playing with her cousins and friends. Skylar's unconditional love and compassion for people was evident in everything that she did.

Skylar is survived by her mother Candice Shamane Lankford; father Bradley Scott Pokorny; her maternal grandparents Dwight and Shamane Lankford; her paternal grandparents Ricque and Sue Pokorny and Cheryl Pokorny; maternal grandparents Robert and Misty Perry; paternal great-grandparents JoAnn Pokorny and Wanda Wagley; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved and cared for her profoundly.

Visitation with the LANKFORD Family will be from 3:00-5:00 on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 and with the POKORNY Family from 7:00-9:00 on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Forest Park The Woodlands. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at Forest Park the Woodlands on Thursday, December 16 at 2:00 PM with interment to follow.
