Stephen Lon Blake

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anne McMahan Blake; son, Chris and wife Angela; brother, Mike and wife Carey; brother, John; brother, Tom and wife Nadine and sister-in-law, Jo McMahan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Lou Blake, and his brother David.

Steve graduated in 1973 from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, where he also played football for the Horned Frogs.

He began his career with National Supply in Houston and later moved to Ohio with ARMCO. ARMCO took Steve and Anne to South America then to the northeast United States. Steve furthered his career with American General/AIG in Indiana and subsequently in Texas. He retired from AIG in January, 2016.

Steve was an avid car collector as well as race fan. He loved his Horned Frogs having enjoyed their recent successes. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing with his family and many friends.
