Born on October 8, 1944, in Eagle Pass, Texas, Steve graduated from Lee High School in San Antonio and went on to earn his Master Electrician License in the late 1970s. He built a successful career in electrical contracting and was the proud co-founder and owner of Stoever-Parker Electric, which he operated for many years. Steve had a passion for golf and Harley Davidson motorcycles, and he was known for his sense of humor and quick wit.
Steve is survived by his wife, Carla; his daughter Sandra, husband Brad, and their two children, Tyler and Emma; his daughter Cindy, husband Kevin, and their four children, Jacob, Braden, Owen, and Wyatt; and his son Stephen. He is also survived by his brother, Paul, and wife Dorothy; sister-in-law Josie; as well as several nieces, nephews, and their families.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Stoever; his mother, Tusnelda Stoever Byram; his stepfather, Herman Byram; his brother, Doug Stoever; and a great-niece.
A Committal service will be held Friday July 18, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home and Cemetery 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384.
