She was born in Odessa, TX on 11 August 1961. Teresa was the first graduating class of McCullough High School and received a horticulture degree from TSTC.
Teresa worked in the landscaping business. She had a passion for music, when attending any concert please keep her in mind. She was always sure to buy the T-shirt and keychain at every concert to add to her collection. Her passion for horticulture and informing her kids of how they were doing it wrong was unrivaled. Her main passion was her children, which is still uncompared to the passion she had for her grandchildren. Taking care of or should it be spoiling her grandchildren was a blessing to her.
She loved to remind TJ and Heather how young and beautiful she looked and to be glad they had that gene. She loved spending time with the family. We will always remember her contagious smile and a laugh you could hear from miles away especially when, as she would say, “her tickle box got turned over”.
She is survived by her son TJ and wife Lesley Ritchie and her daughter Heather Ritchie, her grandchildren Guy, Cotton, Maddison, Kennady, Noah and Annabelle. Her brother Darrell and wife Roxanne Dyson and sister Gina Dyson.
Teresa enjoyed going out and never met a stranger with her big, strong, caring and giving heart. Every person she encountered knew Jesus was her Lord and Savior. She has gone to Heaven to meet her Heavenly Father. She is now reunited with her Father and Mother Kenneth and Wilona Dyson, many aunts and uncles, but the one reunion that will have the biggest and brightest smile on Teresa’s face is Austin the child that never made it to Earth. Teresa would love for this to continue but this is where it will stop, She’s about to enjoy God’s concert.
