Elizabeth C. "Betsy" O'Meara

Longtime Cedarburg resident Elizabeth "Betsy" O'Meara passed away on Monday April 2, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Betsy was born on August 18, 1955 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of James and Jane Cannon. She is survived by her husband Dan O'Meara, children Thomas O'Meara of Milwaukee, James (Nazli) O'Meara of San Francisco, CA and Daniel O'Meara of Cedarburg, WI and brothers Patrick (Paula) Cannon of Chino Hills, CA and Peter Cannon of Brown Deer, WI. She is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and cousins along with other relatives and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday April 9, 6:30 pm at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church-North in Cedarburg, WI. The family will greet relatives and friends Monday at the Church from 4:30 pm until time of Mass. Betsy supported and served St. Francis Borgia Grade School in many different capacities. Several times she chaired the annual "Auction From the Heart" school fundraiser, help put on the schools "Brunch with Baby Jesus" Christmas program and filled in as a substitute teacher. In Betsy's memory, memorials to the St. Francis Borgia School Building Fund, appreciated.
