Mathilde Kaas

She immigrated to Milwaukee in 1957 with her husband Josef and infant son Alfred. Her son Rick was born after the family moved to Thiensville. She worked as a fur finisher at E.C. Boughton Furs in Thiensville, and later as a cook at the Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, in Mequon . She was a skilled seamstress and knitter. She enjoyed sewing for her grandchildren and knitting more than 500 items to donate to local maternity wards. Her greatest joy was taking care of children and her grandchildren were treasured above all.

She is survived by her husband, Josef and her sons Alfred ( Beverly ) and Rick (Vicki). She was the proud and much loved Oma of Anna, Peter and Elliott. Dear friend of many more. She will be interred at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon . Honoring her wishes, no services will be held.
