It has been almost a year since you left us to go home. You have touched so many lives along the years and you still do. I love you and miss you very much...I believe in angels and I know that you are all of our guardian angel and that you watch and protect us all. please continue to watch over us and guide me through all the tough times that comes my way through the years to come. For "Miss Flo," a very special lady, from the students of STC Bible College and your teachers, Pete and Jane...We remember you in so many special ways. We will not forget the New Year's Eve "Feasting on the Word" illustration that you shared with us, reminding us to focus on Jesus. We appreciate your positive attitude and your consistent, upbeat approach to difficult situations. We were excited along with you when you reached your goal of achieving your Bachelor Degree from the college, and we admired your determination to reach your goal of Masters Degree. We rejoiced that you were planning to take the STCBC curriculum with you on the trip you had planned for Jamaica. We love you, Flo, and you were truly an inspiration to those who knew you.

We miss your hugs & kisses at school, so we WILL catch up on those later ,

Jan and I had known Flo a little over two years.  She was a doer of the word.  She was truly a blessing to work with in the things of the Lord.  I remember Flo was concerned about helping me in the church.  She always was thinking about others, and wanting to find ways to help in whatever way she could.  We all at Spirit of Truth Ministries will miss her greatly. She was a blessing to us.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.

To my wonderful amd loving Grandmother. I love you and miss you very much. I never thought I would lose you yet. I will always treasure the memories that we have shared,the laughs that we laughed,and the tears that we shedded. You taught me so many things in life and I know that you loved everyone of us. I promise that I will help take care of mom and Rhonda and the rest of the family. I know that you are now up in HEAVEN so please give POPS a hug and tell him that I love him. I know that you wanted to marry Andy and I so when we decide to get marry I will honor you in my wedding. I love you and so does Andy and the kids.

To anyone who knew my Grandma and me knew that our love for each other was to argue about football, but it would always end in a laugh.  She would call me late at night to have me come over and fix her T.V. when all it would be is to turn the power on.  Well Grandma you will not have to worry about that anymore because you will not have time to Watch T.V. now you have to keep me in line From heaven above.  And I know that you will be watching over all the family.  I know that you are the family Guardian Angel. Grandma I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART AND WILL SEE YOU AT THE PEARLLY GATES!!!!

Such a wonderful lady! I always enjoyed seeing her beautiful smiling face at church. She was always kind, warm & loving. I know she is rejoicing in Heaven now. She is where I long to be, meeting Jesus face to face.

I have never met such a warm caring, loving person! you could just see the love of God in her smile, & her heart! I appreciated so much, being with my family during the loss of our mother only 2 months ago! cooking & bringing in food for our friends & family, comforting us, when we needed it the most. I know in my heart God sent her to us! a true angel of the Lord!she lived her life, the way God wants us to all live it, with the love & compasion for all people! thank you Flo for all you did for us, & Thank you for always making me feel welcome in your church. rest in peace in the loving arms of our saviour! love you! to the family, may you find comfort knowing she is will always be with you, right in your heart! my prayers are with you all.

I will have all my good memories of you in my heart forever and someday I will see you.   I remember the day I first met you....you were walking love and you made me feel at home in my new church and it felt good that I had a new friend.  We became forever friends.   We did many things together, a retreat that changed 3 women's life and our church by us becoming a choir.   We had many fun times at practice and we all loved being together, singing our hearts out to the Lord.  Now you are in the Heavenly Choir.  I am glad that the Lord let an Angel like you walk into my life.....til we meet again...Love Penny

Flo Doss welcomed me with opened arms the very first time I ever saw her to welcome me in Bridge of Hope Church.  Flo always knew if you were down and out or you weren't feeling well, either way Moma Flo would start laying hands on you and start praying, when she got through believe me you felt a different person and a better person.  Flo adopted me as her daughter and I adopted her children as my sisters.  I sat with Flo so her Daughter could work because the doctor didn't want Flo to be left alone.  Moma Flo, My Mother & I would go to the Good Will, Thrift stores and yard sales.  Moma Flo loved to go to the Gospel singing on Monday night at Kosta's restaurant so we would meet her there and have supper and enjoy the blessings we received from it We were never in separable from Moma Flo. Anytime Moma Flo wanted to do anything or to go anywhere or do anything we were there.  She always wanted me to call her when I got home and I understand why, it was to let Moma Flo know that I was safely at home.  Moma Flo bought our sound system at our Church, Spirit if Truth Ministries and it just thrilled her heart.  When one of her adopted children would get up and sing for the Lord.  Moma Flo has been a true blessing to us.  I will truely miss you Moma Flo.  I Love you Moma Flo   Hugs & kisses, Debbie Sue

It is said that "we preach our funeral as we live each day - either good or bad"
Flo certainly preached a good funeral.  In God's word, it says that "By this all men shall know that you are my disciples, if you love one another".  She definitely was one of His disciples by the love she showed to all who knew her.  She loved doing for and giving to others.  She was a shining light in this world of darkness and loved to talk about and share the things of the Lord. She was there to give me encouragement, a hug and a prayer when needed.  Even tho Flo is not with me in the natural, she will be with me forever in spirit and one day we will be together again.  

To all the family of Flo, 
May you know and feel the love of Jesus at this time of your lives.  Flo loved you so very much and she would say to you - "Jesus loves you too!"  I pray that all of you know or will come to know Jesus, the same way Flo did, and will be able to join her in Heaven... that was the desire of Flo's heart.

Flo has a very special place in my heart. I know God put her in our lives for a reason to help lead and guide us thru her ministry.  Flo was the back bone of our church, everyone looked up to her and like Flo would say, we went thru the fire together. She was like a spirtual mother to me, when my mother died she was to there to help me & my family so much. Flo was so generous, always thinking about others before herself. Flo was a very beautiful, compasionate, caring and forgiven person.  I will miss her smile and her encourgement that she gave to me.  Flo I will never forget you, I willl always love you and I am so glad that God put you in my life. To the family, you are in my prayers and love all of you very much. Flo was such a warm and sweet person.  She was caring, dedicated and compassionate toward her work in Health Information Services, the staff, and the customers.  She would go the extra mile to meet the needs of customers and staff. She often came by my office to say "I brought some goodies for the staff, so you make sure you come by and get some!"  She'd bring in breakfast, snacks or something - just because - just being wonderful Flo.
We'll miss you Flo, and we'll carry you in our hearts and memories always.

Obviously from previous messages it's clear that Flo is most remembered for her smile and gentle heart and for me also that is what I remember.  She always caused me to smile and chuckle.  May peace be to her and her family.

I will miss you very much. Flo was so sweet and humble, never seeking anything for herself.  Now she has everything with her Lord.

In honor of our beloved co-worker who thoughts of others more than her, the Health Information Department has decided to pick up the gauntlet of her generosity and decided to follow her lead for others.  In returning her belongings to her family a mason jar was found with the label attached which read somewhat like this. “Pennies add up and I going on a mission trip and those kids need so much, (then she wrote small things like toothpaste, pens, pencils, washcloths, small things we take for granted) and I going to fill this jar with pennies and when I’m finished I going to give it to the church and afterwards I’m going to fill this jar up again for them as often as I’m able.”

This has inspired the department to continue the penny jar because as Flo has shown us over the years, a little goes a long way and we will be continuing this for her as a memorial to them for her.

She was very dedicated to the Lord. I've never met anyone who was as dedicated as she was. Always doing something for the Father. She never said a harsh word about no one. Flo was and is a winner. No more pain, she's not tired, she has a new body, and is running the streets of gold. Most of all, she is praising the Father and has an angelical voice to sing Him praises. She always had a beautiful voice. Will miss calling her and hearing her call me baby, will miss her smile, and will miss her warm hugs. R.I.P., Ms. Flo. Jeff and I will miss you so much but we will see you again one day. To her family, we are sorry for your loss. We may have lost an angel, but she is heaven's gain.
