Arthur Dewird Harris

Arthur was born May 10, 1927 in Randolph County, NC to the late Charlie Thomas and Maude Lambeth Harris.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Harris; a son, Michael Harris; brothers, Robert Edward Harris, Paul Harris, and John Lee Harris.

Arthur is survived by a son, Randall Harris of Lexington; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Harris of Thomasville; grandchildren, Michael Harris, Robert Harris, Charlie Harris, and Randy Harris; brother, Ross Harris and wife Betty of Seagrove; sisters, Evelyn Darr, Hope Sechrist, Mildred Cooper and husband Bobby, all of Thomasville, Joanne Allred of Franklinville, Carolyn Owens and husband O’neil of Lexington, Helen Briles and husband Lawrence of Lexington, Jessie Sellers and husband Bobby of Asheboro, Betty Horosko and husband Steve of Thomasville.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Thomasville Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 9th at Thomasville Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gene Little officiating; followed with interment at Cid United Methodist Church.
