Betty Lou Carter Loftis

Betty is survived by her husband of 63 years, William D Loftis (Bill); Daughter, Mrs Johnny Hicks (Debbie); Sons, David Loftis and Bobby Loftis; Granddaughters, Mrs Billy Owen (Wendy), Mrs Anthony Melvin (Ashley); Great grandchildren, John W. Sneed III (Trey), Logan Hicks, Graci-Ann Hicks, Bailey Melvin and Lainey Melvin. Sisters Hazel Sechrest & Shirley Culberson.

Betty was a kind and very caring person. She attended Hillside Baptist church. Betty’s love for her family and friends knew no bounds. She had a passion for making quilts and everyone cherished receiving a “Granny’s” quilt.

A graveside service for Betty will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 2:00pm at Holly Hill Memorial Park; Pastor Dr. Steven L. Chipps officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association
