

A resident of this area all of her life, Jackie was born on February 11, 1934 in Davidson County to the late C.E. and Helen Cranford Pope. Jackie retired as a supervisor from Crown Hosiery and was a dedicated member of Thomasville Church of God. She especially enjoyed singing, spending time with her family, traveling to the beach in her motorhome, and shopping.
Surviving are her husband of over 65 years, Alton Ivey of the home; daughter, Sandra Nealey and her husband Larry of Trinity; son, Ricky Ivey and his wife Rita of Trinity; five grandchildren, Jeff, Katina, Danielle, Kelly, and Katie; and five great grandchildren, Adalyn, Brooklyn, Andrew, Aaron, and Samantha. Also surviving are her sister, Connie Johnson and her husband Earl of Trinity; nephew, Mark Johnson; great nephew, Jamey Johnson; and her faithful Shih Tzu, Angel.
A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Thomasville Church of God, 1200 W. Holly Hill Road, Thomasville, with Pastor Alan Greene officiating. Entombment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.
