

She was born October 8, 1929 in Randleman to the late James Reitzel and Leona Nance Clodfelter. She attended Allen Jay School and in 1947 married Thomas Elbert Justice. They were married 25 years until his death in 1972. Helen married Charles McDaniel and they were married 33 years until his death in 2009.
Helen graduated from GTCC as a Certified Nursing Assistant II and worked at High Point Care Center for 23 years. She loved helping people and her family. She was of Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by a brother, James Vernon Clodfelter; 2 sisters, Polly Gore and Emer Inez; 2 grandsons, Christopher Justice and Travis Murphy; a stepson, Steve McDaniel.
Helen is survived by a daughter, Judy Johnson and husband Jeff of Thomasville; sons, Ronnie Justice and wife Bonnie of Thomasville, Dannie Justice and wife Becky of Lexington, Barrie Justice and wife Gayle of Randleman; step son, Rick McDaniel and wife Lyn of Pennsylvania; step daughter, Debbie Pullum and husband Billy; sisters, Vera West and husband Ed of Archdale, Pat Albertson and husband Jim of Archdale; brothers, Harold Clodfelter and wife Jeanette of Sophia, Wade Clodfelter and wife Myra of High Point; 4 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 5 great step grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; and a special friend, Zetta Fraley, who took Helen under her wing the day she was admitted to the nursing home.
The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff at Hospice of Davidson County and Hinkle Hospice House.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Thomasville Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 28th at 1:00 pm in Thomasville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Lovins officiating; followed by Interment at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
