Irvin Arnold Miller

Irvin is preceded in death by his parents; sons, John Irvin Miller and Keith Arlen Miller; and grandson, Roger “Dale” Barker, Jr.

Arnold is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sarah “Irene” Gallimore Miller; daughters, Sara Barker (Roger) and Sherri Frye (Chris); sons, Dale Miller and Steven Miller (Stephanie); daughter-in-laws, Jane Miller and Tammy James; grandchildren, Kelly Hunt (Jeremy), Kimberly Miller, Mandy Gusler (Joshua), Elijah Miller, Tyler DeReamer (Hannah), Lindsay Miller, Ashley Young (Cory), Kenneth Wallace (Clara), Valerie Tarlton (Christopher), Molly Frye and Kimberly Swaney (Michael); great grandchildren, Chancelor Hunt, Nolan Hunt, Faithlynn Gusler, Henry Wallace, Chase Tarlton, Aiden Swaney and Logan Swaney; siblings, Edith Overcash, Walter Miller (Betty), Wayne Miller (Rose Mary), Eugene Miller (Marie) and Hazel Hill (Otis); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Irvin’s name to Colonial Baptist Church, 6792 Welborn Road, Trinity, NC 27370 or to True Light Baptist Church, 316 Odell Owen Road, Lexington, NC 27295.

A lie in state for Arnold will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Thomasville Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place at Holly Hill Memorial Park on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 2:00pm; Pastor Harold Harper officiating.
