There are not many words that I can say to you at this time to ease your sorrow for the heart hears; but it takes time for the deep chambers to heal.  As I glanced at the photos in the gallery one can readily see that your Dad was family man and one that enjoyed life to the fullest.  I'm sure as these photos were selected, hundreds of memories flooded from them of the "good" days that have gone by.  It is those memories that will help during this difficult time and the days ahead of you.  Once you lose a parent your life is never the same; I wish I could tell you that it was - but it never will be.  But as you go forward you will find yourself thinking about the memories that you hold dear and it is from those that you draw your strength.   My prayer for you is that you will enjoy life and that in your time of need God will give you a reference to lead you.  You will remain in our prayers and thoughts now and the days ahead.

 O merciful God, Frank and I stand here at the grave of his dear Big brother ('my Bubba'), we try hard to fondly recollect the happy times we 
have spent together, sharing the love and traditions of our home and family. 
Alas!   We feel death claimed Jerry too soon, and removed him much  too early from those who loved him so much. Though Thou hast called him back, O God, we shall always hold sacred memories of Jerry's kindness and sincerity, love and devotion, and all of his quick whit humor and loving 
pranks teasing us.   O Lord, grant that the recollections of Jerry's life provide an incentive to righteous living. We place our trust in Thee O'Lord, Our Almighty God is the source of all life and our strength in time of  sorrow. Though a link has been severed from our family chain, help us, O God, to be more closely united with those dear ones who remain with us now. May the soul of our beloved Jerry be bound up in the bond of eternal life together with the souls of all the righteous that are in Thy keeping always. Let us always shine the light of your boundless love always, we Thank You Lord for
your peace to comfort and console our hearts, and to the Glory of our 
Loving Father in heaven.   Amen.

All my life I have respected Jerry and loved him for the family man he was...He loved his family dearly...and always put them first!...So to all of his children carry his love in your hearts n memories. And know this that " To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord"...he is now with his family that has crossed over n we will all be together one day for the greatest Thanksgiving you all have ever seen...Sorry I could not attend the services but know that you all are in my thoughts n prayers...and if you need me just give me a call....oh the video is wonderful...Lovingly with you in spirit, Carolyn Barnhill McNeer  828-645-8128
