Katina Gayle Ohlemacher Jones

She was born on March 10, 1947 in Frankfort to Melvin and Phyllis (Davenport) Ohlemacher. In 1965 Katina married David Michael Woods and he passed away in 1970. She married in 1972 to Ronald Jones who survives.

Katina attended Western High School and Kokomo High School. She worked for the Kokomo Kentucky Fried Chicken, Union Bank, Kroger, Denny’s, Marsh Furniture Company and CVS in Thomasville.

Survivors include husband Ronald Jones of Thomasville, NC; two sons, Alvis (Connie) Woods of Murfreesboro, TN, Brian (Beverly) Jones of Mt. Juliet, TN; four grandchildren, Brian Woods, Michael Woods, Chelsey Jones, Christina Jones; two sisters, Donna (Paul) Pratt of Kokomo, Anita Ryker of Kokomo; two dogs, Cocoa and Bambi.

Katina was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Phyllis Ohlemacher; husband, David Michael Woods; one brother, Melvin “Vic” Ohlemacher; two sisters, Bonita Pearson, Deborah Reuter.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, March , 20, 2015 at Stout & Son Funeral Home at 200 E. Main St. Russiaville with Pastor Barbara Tranburger officiating. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
