My dear sweet husband I know how much you suffered. I did what I could to take care of you by myself. But I knew it got to the point that I was not able to take care of you on my own any longer. I sure do miss you and loved you more than you will ever know. We traveled many roads together and now your with our Heavenly Father. I will see you again when it's my time to rise up to meet Jesus. Im sorry to here about Lee. I really thought a lot of him . I am glad I got to know him like I did and spend the time I did with him. He was definitely one of a kind! Rest in peace buddy.  

It’s a blessing to have 5 Generations together with love of family enjoyment of hunting and fishing. 

I will miss you Lee.  As far as I am concerned, you have always been my dad.  I will also miss all of your campfire stories, and you had lots of them to tell. I look forward to seeing you again in Heaven someday and hearing you talk about the old days again.  Love you Dad. 

To my grandpa in Heaven,
I will always, always remember our birthdays and buttered noses together! I will always cherish the memories we shared camping, fishing and playing rummy and solitaire together.  I will never forget sitting and listening to you tell stories of your (and our) past adventures. I will also never forget the time I saw you (take no crap) from a couple people trying to take your birthday balloons off the fence, ha! You taught me so much and you were the best grandpa! I love you and you will be dearly missed!! Keep on playing,  fishing and hunting  you "tough 'ol Byrd"!!

Lee we miss you. I know your pain and suffering  is over and your having the best time in Heaven! I remember how you liked to have fish frys and enjoyed seeing everyone eat. We had some wonderfull times hunting and fishing together. I'll see you again when it's my time to go and we'll have a Halilough time. We love you.

He always Loved the Lord and his family. He was very humble and kind. Never met a stranger. Loved to travel and see new places. Always gardening in the summer months. Grew some delicious corn. Everyone wanted to buy some. So sweet hardly needed anything extra. 🙏

I could sit for hours and listen to him tell about his younger days. He always Loved to hunt and fish. We will miss you Dad. Your singing and dancing to your favorite tunes of Bluegrass.. Love and miss you. Barbara and Danny ❤️
