Margaret Elizabeth Tucker Hodge, age 79, of Lexington, North Carolina, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 22, 2021. She was born on May 18th, 1942 in Elkin, NC, to the late Will and Jettie Spainhour Tucker.
Margaret loved her family and her two dogs, Trixie and Harley, more than anything. She cherished every moment with such gratitude and thankfulness. She brought such joy and happiness to every room she was in. Her infectious smile and love was like no other.
She will always be remembered for the way she cared for others and her kindness towards all.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 48 years, Coy Hodge, Sr; and daughter,
Becky Hodge.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Debra Austin and her husband, Jackie; sons, Coy Hodge, Jr. and William Hodge and his wife, Stacey; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The family would like to give a very special thanks to hospice nurse Ashley Hurley for her caring and uplifting spirit. They would also like to give a special thanks to Pastor Bryant for his support during this trying time.
A visitation for Margaret will take place on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations of Thomasville. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 12:00pm at Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations; Pastor Bryant Madren officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
