Mary Frances Hudgins, age 97, of Thomasville, NC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. She was born February 29, 1928, in South Carolina, the daughter of the late Willie Breeton Asbill and Blanche Boatwright Asbill.
Mary was a devout member of Carolina Memorial Baptist Church in Thomasville. After graduation from high school, she was employed as a weaver with Burlington Industries. Following retirement, Mary became a Walmart associate and served as a greeter for 15 years.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hudgins, and her brother, D.B. Asbill.
Cherishing her memory are her daughter, Brenda Kepley (Randy Fields); her grandchildren, Tommy Moffitt (Renee), Bill Moffitt (Becky), and Debra Moffitt Clark; along with four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations, 18 Randolph Street, Thomasville, NC. A graveside service will follow on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Alamance Memorial Park, 4039 S. Church Street, Burlington, NC, officiated by Rev. Allen Hale.
