Mary "Ruth" Williams, age 92, of Thomasville, NC, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023. She was born August 4, 1931, the daughter of the late Andrew Clarence and Sylvia Dorsett Wright.

She had a great love for her family and for animals, and she enjoyed spending time at home..

Ruth is survived by her son, Dennis Wright (Lolita); grandchildren, Clarence Dennis Wright (LeAnn), Jennifer Shuskey (Rick), Leigh Ann, Jordan, Caitlyn, Austin, and Jessy; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Williams in 1978; and her son, Roger Lee Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations, 18 Randolph St., Thomasville, NC 27360.

In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Humane Society of Davidson County, 1120 Piedmont Dr, Lexington, NC 27295.
