Nancy married the love of her life, Billy Wayne Sullivan on December 28, 1963. She was a wonderful homemaker and caregiver for her children. She worked over twenty years at E. Lawson Brown Middle School in their cafeteria.
Nancy loved the Lord and her family, always lending a helping hand to those in need.
Surviving of the home is her husband, Billy Wayne “Pig” Sullivan; her daughter, Wendy Parham and husband Rusty Parham of New London, NC; a son, Darren Wayne Sullivan and wife Lynne of Randolph County, NC; and another son, Kenneth Sullivan and wife Tina of Forsyth County, NC; grandchildren, Lindsay Neal and husband Brandon, Jordan Inman and husband Blaine, Sydney Kalapp and husband Lee, Alex Hoover, Haylee Small and husband Sterling, and Makayla Snyder and fiance’ Kenny Shadrick; great-grandchildren, Parker Kalapp, Lennon Inman, Lincoln Neal, Gunner Inman, Gemma Neal and Shepherd Small; brothers, Hillis Burton and wife Barbara, Lawrence Burton and wife Phyllis, Clifton Burton and wife Gail; sister, Elaine Clontz and husband Jerry; and sister-in-law, Betty Clinard and husband Jerry.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Myrtle Burton, her sister Barbara Blackburn, and another sister Delores Hancock.
A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Emanuel Reformed Church, 1170 Emanuel Church Rd, Thomasville, NC, with Pastor Rickey Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
