Wilma Irene (Klass) Rogers

Wilma Irene (Klass) Rogers, age 82, of Thomasville, North Carolina passed away on Thursday July 18, 2019. Wilma was born September 22, 1936 in Thomasville, NC to Daisy Lambeth Klass and Walter Garland Klass.

Wilma is survived by; son Terry Rogers; and daughter Cindy Vertefeuille and husband Michael; special daughter-in-law Kathy Leak-Rogers; brother Gary Klass, brother Randy Klass, brother Jeffrey Klass and sister Judy Aldridge; grandchildren Alex Vertefeuille, O'Brian Leak, Zachary Rogers, Ashley Vertefeuille, Tekiesha Duncan and Octavia Leak; and three great grandchildren, Frenichie, Javian and Mykel.

Wilma was preceded in death by; father Walter Garland Klass and mother Daisy Klass; brother Richard Klass; sister Patricia Klass and sister Sandra Cody.

A visitation for Wilma will be held Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street, Thomasville, North Carolina 27360. A funeral service will occur Monday, July 22, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Southgate Baptist Church, 104 Cloniger Drive, Thomasville, North Carolina 27360; Pastor Russel Fox officiating. A burial will occur Monday, July 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Holly Hill Memorial Park, 401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, North Carolina 27360-5742.

Serving as pallbearers are Alex Vertefeuille (Grandson), Scotty Mabe (Family Friend), Donnie Owens (Nephew), O'Brian Leak (Grandson), Eric Cody (Nephew), Zachary Rogers (Grandson), Robert Hollmon (Family Friend) and Frenichie Skeen (Family Friend).
