It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Adele Louise (nee Campitelli) Jagger on December 19, 2025. Emigrating with her family from Fossacesia, Italy to Ontario, Canada in 1955 she worked as head secretary at General Electric. There she met her future husband Charles Edwin Jagger - a physics engineer. Five years later they were married in 1960 in Toronto.
While her children were in elementary school Adele took courses in nursing and public speaking. She later went on to earn a degree in computer science from Seneca College.
She was dearly loved by her children Carolyn, Richard (Rita), Brian (Mary), and Kevin, granddaughters Kristina (Jenna), Kelli, and step-granddaughter Jessica. Her greatest passion was gourmet cooking, mostly Italian dishes, and baking scrumptious desserts. Her artistic endeavours included drawing, painting, crafting, dress making, and writing poems. She also was an avid gardener. With a perfect green thumb she would spend summers planting many types of fruits and vegetables to add a touch of sunshine to her health conscious salads.
Adele devoted her life to her kids, guiding them and supporting them in all their endeavours. She was a beautiful, selfless person with a heart of gold.
In honour of her late husband, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
