She celebrated her 100th birthday on February 19th, enjoying the day with party sandwiches and cake.
Adele lived a wonderful, fulfilled life. Her Risotto, Rice Krispie Squares, Pies and so much more, will never be replicated. She enjoyed her time as a Volunteer at Sick Kids Hospital and always had inspiring stories to share about the many children she worked with.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Christine Cachero and her daughter Caila. Christine lived with and cared for Adele as if she was her family. We cannot thank her enough for making our mother’s last years, not only so comfortable but full of so much love and joy. Also, to Dr. Katja Heineck and team from Seniors HouseCalls who were always available to us and made everything so seamless.
Adele will be greatly missed by all, but her memory will always be with us.
Please join the family on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes (8088 Yonge St. Thornhill) to celebrate Adele’s Life. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. A reception will take place after the service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks you to consider a donation in Adele’s memory to Sick Kids Hospital, Ronald Mcdonald House or Anne Marie D’Amico Foundation.
