Passed away peacefully on July 13, 2008 at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre at the age of 73. Alan is survived by Joan, his beloved wife of 50 years and his loving
daughter Gail McGregor (Bruce), dearest grandson Cameron Davies and
step-granddaughters Janice and Alison McGregor. Alan was pre-deceased
by his much loved son, Scott in 1995 and sister Betty Rowe in 2005.
Alan will be deeply missed by his many close relatives, friends and
associates. A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, July 27,
2008 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150
Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Relatives and friends
will be received from 12:30 pm. Donations may be made to the
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Coronary Care Unit or Palliative Care Unit.
