Passed away peacefully in her sleep. Beloved wife of Norman for 47 years. Loving mother of Christine, Josephine (David), Michael, Geraldine (Steve), and Katherine (Michael) and adoring grandmother of ten. Predeceased by her parents Abed and Sadie Gideon, her sister Lily, and her brothers Gideon and Johnny. Amira will forever be remembered by her devoted brothers Joe (Marcelle), George (Gayle) and all her family and friends who were blessed to know her. She was the Founder and President of Aladdin Travel Agency. Friends may call on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
