Please know that my heart was shocked to hear of Andrea’s passing via my good friends Penny and Paul Cates. I met Andrea as Penny and I worked together to sell their Oakville home. Through the years Penny and Paul have always kept me up to date on Andrea and Drew’s lives as I was always interested in them. They demonstrated a love of life while I worked with them. Always so happy to hear that Drew was managing his illness and still marching forward with such a great attitude. I listened to her celebration of life quietly in my family room with a cafe latte in hand ( too early for a glass of wine ). The tributes were beautiful and heartwarming. Yes, we need to remember her by spreading more love and passion into the world. She has contributed to making the world a better place. I am thankful that I met her and I pray for her family as they journey through this most difficult time. RIP Andrea🙏🏻

Andrea & I met thru work years ago. I've always admired her kindness, sense of humour and her humble disposition-especially given she was at the top of her game. When she spoke of her family she would get a twinkle in her eye. Andrea had a luminous energy that made others feel at ease, special and heard. I am forever thankful for our professional & personal relationship. My deepest heartfelt sympathies to her family. May her memory be eternal.

All of our family at Aurora Realty Consultants have in the last few weeks commented on experiences with Andrea and what she meant to the retail industry and TCREW.  We send our best wishes from Florida as we will not be back in time for the services.

Andrea’s Celebration of Life was a wonderful tribute to a remarkable woman who is dearly cherished and missed. The sincere words spoken by all describe the true character and warm, wonderful personality that graced all who met Andrea. Although we had only met a few times, she left such a positive, fun, energetic, adventurous and enthusiastic impression. We truly share in the loss of such a vibrant life.

Many sweet memories of Andrea come to mind of the beautiful and brilliant person she was.  It was my honor to work with her at the Oshawa Centre.

What a shock and tragedy to hear about Andrea.  I was at a dinner function many years ago when Drew announced he was going to ask someone from ICSC on a date. We were thrilled when we heard  it was Andrea and the rest is history.  Andrea and I would chat at every event and chatted about our families and especially about her absolute miracle Jacob.  Her mother’s love poured out of her every time we spoke and he truly completed her life.  You will be missed Andrea by everyone you touched. I only knew Andrea as a business colleague, but she was always kind, thoughtful, intelligent, pragmatic, and a tough, but fair negotiator. Quick with a smile or a witty quip, she brought a special light and energy into every room she entered. 

She will be truly missed and remembered by all who knew her.

I remember clearly the first time I met Andrea at a company conference when we were both still early in our careers; she was friendly, fun and clearly smart right from the start and her genuine kindness was evident throughout the years.   I'm so sad for the big hole she leaves for all who loved her.  My deepest condolences to all; her absense will be felt far and wide.

If you survived cutting your teeth there you could do just about anything. Many moved onward and upward and Andrea was one of them.

The tragic loss of Andrea is something that I struggle to put into context every single day, as it all still feels so incredibly surreal and beyond fathomable.

Oh, the many fun memories that we created over the years, Andrea! From our journey to moving to Oshawa in the early stages of our real estate careers, to the improbable feat of running a half marathon (I still can’t believe you talked me into it!), to the countless nights of singing our hearts out to Coldplay, to sharing in a bottle (or maybe two?) of delicious wine and solving every life issue, big or small. I was so excited when you met Drew and decided that he was the man you were going to marry. We rocked as bridesmaids at one another’s weddings and cheered for the arrival of your adorable son, Jacob! Each and every moment with you was truly a precious treasure. You had the biggest heart, an amazing soul (resilient beyond compare), and the most radiant smile that could brighten the darkest of days. 

Until we meet again, beautiful friend, rest in peace, knowing that you will be so deeply missed and always remembered with the utmost love and respect. I will forever cherish and remain grateful for the privilege of having you in my life, Andrea. xo

Dear Drew and Jacob,
We were shocked and incredibly saddened to hear this devastating news. We only knew Andrea for a short time, but it feels like we have known her for years. It didn’t take long to realize she was an amazing person. She was so kind, warm, bright and fun. (even at 5:00 am!). Andrea made the waiting at rowing events much more enjoyable. It pains us to say goodbye to our new friend so soon. Jacob, we are not too far away!

Drew and Jacob I am so very sorry to hear of Andrea's passing.   I worked with Andrea for about 10 years and she was what I would consider a true light in this world.  She was smart as a whip, happy to help anyone and always had a positive outlook. She  was simply an awe inspiring woman, fierce and strong, but also sensitive and compassionate.  I admired her, had fun with her (maybe had a few glasses of wine with her lol) and learned from her.   Her passing is a tragic loss for all who knew her but most of all for you and her family.   She spoke often of both of you and your trips skiing, your place in Ellicotville and  some of fun things you did together.   I hope that all those amazing memories will help provide you comfort through your grief and bring you some of her light.   You are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

I am so surprised and saddened by this news.  Andrea was a great person and business personality.  I wish you all the strength and love you may need to get through this.
