“ Zenei tehetségét édesanyjától örökölte. 13 évesen került a marosvásárhelyi zeneiskolába. ahol először vadászkürtös volt, majd zongorázni és énekelni tanult. 1975-ben a marosvásárhelyi filharmónia énekese lett.

1982-ben Ausztriába disszidált, ahol egy évet töltött „lágerben” és ez idő alatt az Osztrák Rádió (ORF) felkérésére megzenésítette a Bécsben élő jeles költő, Monoszlóy Dezső verseit, melyet a Szabad Európa Rádió is átvett.

1983 nyarán vándorolt ki Kanadába, azóta számtalanszor fellépett a Magyar Házakban, a katolikus és református egyházak rendezvényein, iskolákban, éttermekben és még magán házaknál a világ több részén is közel egy tucat nyelven..

1987-ben kanadai állampolgárságot kapott, a román állampolgárságáról lemondott, és elindult világjáró útjára. 119 országban fordult meg, misszionáriusi lelkülettel erős vágy hajtotta, hogy hírül vigye a világnak az akkori tragikus sorsú Erdély bánatát. Énekelte népdalait, nótáit, hirdetvén a székelység és egész Erdély erejét.

Megszerezte a Magyar állampolgárságot, de sajnos már nem jöhet haza, mert évek óta demenciában szenvedő beteg. Hálával tartozunk a torontói Remsei Marikának, Ildikónak, Éva doktornéninek, hogy a bátyámnak támaszai, betegségében nem hagyták magára.” (Farkas Antal, Székelyudvarhely)

′′ He inherited his musical talent from his mother. At the age of 13 he was in the music school in Marosvásárhely. where he first was a hunter horn and then learned to play piano and sing. In 1975 he became the singer of the Philharmonic in Marosvásárhely.

In 1982, he defended to Austria, where he spent a year in ′′ lager ′′ and during this time at the invitation of the Austrian Radio (ORF), the famous poet Monoszloy Dezs ső, who was also received by Radio Free Europe.

He migrated to Canada in the summer of 1983, since then he has performed several times in Hungarian Houses, at events of Catholic and Reformed churches, schools, restaurants and even private houses in almost a dozen languages..

In 1987, he received Canadian citizenship, resigned from Romanian citizenship and started on his journey to the world. He turned around in 119 countries, with a missionary spirit, he drove a strong desire to announce to the world the sorrows of the then tragic fate of Transylvania. He sang his folk songs, songs, announcing the power of Székely and the whole Transylvania.
