Anna Sophia Atrill

With the same remarkable strength and courage that defined her life, Anna passed away peacefully at home on September 24, 2011 at the age of 64. Anna was surrounded by her loving and heartbroken family. Predeceased by her loving parents Luigi and Erminia. Anna is the love of husband Philip's life. Proud, loving and deeply caring mother to Tamara (Dave), Natasha (Mark) and Anastasia (Carlos) and loving, devoted older sister to Paola, Giovanna, Pia, Lucio and Marcella. Cherished Nona to her adored little Hailey. Auntie Anna's loving ways, sage advice and wisdom will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews. Anna's indomitable spirit, loving heart, compassion and selflessness will be forever in the hearts of all who were privileged to have shared in her life.

A mass will be held at St. Gabriel's Passionate Parrish on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. followed by inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Thornhill. Reception to follow at the Thornhill Golf & Country Club in the "Heather Room". Arrangements handled by R.S. Kane Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
