

Passed away on March 18, 2015 at Chartwell Gibson Retirement Residence at the age of 94. Anna Finlayson was born on July 20, 1920 in Lucknow, Ontario, twin of Donald. Beloved youngest daughter of Alexander Finlayson and Mary Ann Cameron. Anna grew up in Lucknow where she attended school, and moved to Toronto after the Second World War. Her working life was spent as a computer programmer for Ontario Blue Cross and OHIP. After her retirement, Anna enjoyed spending time visiting her extended family, working on the Tape Ministry at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Toronto, tending her flowers and caring for her beloved cat Meesha. Her life revolved around her family and church family, first at Lochalsh and Chesley and then in Toronto.
Anna was predeceased by her parents and siblings: Roy, Clark, Cameron, Christine and Donald. Also predeceased by her niece Elizabeth Ann. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Mary (Bill), Janet (Chris), Tom, Rod (Helen), Mary Ann (Arie), Sandy (Linda) and Cathie (David) as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 2:30 p.m. until the time of service at 3:30 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Interment in Lochalsh, Ontario at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 593 Sheppard Ave. E., Willowdale, Ontario, M2K 1B4.
