Passed away on Monday, September 15, 2008 at Humber River Regional Hospital at the age of 85. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gordon and her son Gerald. Loving mother of John (Ellie), David (Kitty), Debbie (Noel) Proverbs, and Douglas (Ann). Cherished grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 17. Survived by her siblings Helen, Marion, Florence, Joyce, Peter and Bob. Anne will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment Westminster Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
