Ante Kranjac

Suddenly, after a very short and aggressive battle with cancer, Ante (Tony) Kranjac passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Tony leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Ruza, three loving daughters, Lilian, Helen and Sandy, his devoted son-in-laws, Geoff, Joe and Shaun. Tony was also a wonderful uncle to Rosanda, Mirko, Robbie, Emilijan, Robert, Suzanne, Walter, and Shaun Michael and caring brother-in-law of Angela and Louis.

Tony loved life and worked very hard for over 55 years as a flooring re-finisher, aka “The Floor Doctor”. Devoted to his family and church, Tony spent many memorable weekends at his beloved Martyrs’ Shrine and Midland, and many summers on the shores of Sauble Beach in Ontario and the pebbly beaches in his homeland of Croatia. A proud Canadian and Croatian, Tony loved politics, soccer, hockey and a good boxing match. His advice, wisdom and jokes will be sadly missed by all who knew him and his history lessons will live on through all the people he educated over the years. Tony had the rare ability to only see the good in people which is why he was a friend to everyone he met. Truly an angel on Earth, rest in peace Tony.
