Antonina Cecelia Cusimano

1930 - 2016

Peacefully, on May 10, 2016, with family by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony in 1972. Her greatest accomplishment was single-handledly raising her six devoted children of whom she was enormously proud; John, Rosemary (Lionel), Paul (Cynthia), Jo- Anne (John), Mark (Julie) and Rick (Sandra). Cherished grandmother to Joanna, Julia, Anthony, Deborah, Lauren, Jeffrey, Robert, Miranda, Ryan, Nicholas, Tyler, Bianca, Noah, Paige, Eve and the late Graham. Great-grandmother to Owen. Dear sister to Josephine, Joseph, Marie (Peter) and the late Providence; and lovingly remembered by their families. Lena had a tremendous, joyful spirit and was loved by everyone. She was devoted to the church and worked tirelessly for the Catholic Womens League. Her love and support were boundless. Her memory will be in our hearts forever. The family wishes to thank her caregivers at Woodbridge Vista for their loving care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Trinity Church, 3220 Bayview Ave., on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
