I will always cherish all our memories, Thank you for teaching me to pray & to always love each other no matter what is going on. I recently accepted you friend request in Facebook and I am glad that I was able to accept your request prior to your journey to heaven. I'll cherish our first and last conversation in FB.
I remember during my childhood days vacationing in Tondo that you are always offer "miryenda" or whatever you have cooked for us to eat. Your welcoming heart will always be remember as your legacy. Rest in peace with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. 

Dearest Nanay, Thank you for being the most selfless individual & giving us whatever you had whether it was big or small or creating something out of nothing. In other words, giving us what was needed even if you had nothing & none the less raising everyone in our family especially when it came to us, your grandkids. You have have taught us many things in this precious thing called life & have gave us the true meaning of what it meant to devote your life to your loved ones, what it meant to forgive & how to be strong no matter the circumstance. You were wise, strong, loving, caring & again selfless. You were without a doubt one of a kind. I will cherish & never forget all the memories we had & will most definitely miss your cooking, your little jokes, your singing, seeing you read the bible before the sunset, sleeping beside you when I came over, even your lectures when we were in the wrong because you always displayed to forgive & love each other no matter what. But, most importantly you. I will miss you & love you the most. We all know you are now in a better place. May you rest eternally in paradise & at peace with Tatay & Tita Carol. Until we meet again.

We, (Sarah & Jenny) met Nanay Sonia (& Tatay Roger) way back 1996 at the Manila Grill Rest as they were The Cooks there at that time. She came to us and ask for our numbers so we can meet her Pogi sons daw.. hehe…  She admired my singing and teased me that she wished me to be one of her  manugang so the singing blood of Sunga’s remains (Something like that hehe) Until we met their sons, Jonjon and Sonny and the rest is history. From then on, Me and Jenny became part of the Sunga family as adopted children of Tatay and Nanay. That everytime we visit their humble home in From Caledonia.. to Bogert ..to Dunsfold.. they will ask us what ulam we like and right away would cook it for us. We. will never forget all the talks, the advices, the lessons in life that Nanay shared with us. The dancer, singer, the best cook, your humour, your views in lif, the beautiful Nanay inside and out - all in one package. She would always say Mahal ko ang mga anak ko and lahat yan pantay pantay.. kasama na kayo dun ni Jenny.. Nanay!!! MamaMiss ka po namin.. Thank you for the memories. We thank the Lord that we met you along with the whole Sunga family that made us felt that we belong and loved as their own. My (Sarah) heart is even More sad that I can’t be with you today. But I am praying for you and the whole family po. We love you Nanay.. You may be gone from our sights, but never in our hearts… I’m sure Tatay Roger is happy to see you again.. We love you Nanay!! Nanay Sonia for us was great mother and  inspiration. She was Our NANAY in the church. She never missed  Sunday service even when she was sick, she always come to church. She was our prayer warrior, a pillar of the church. She always testified on the goodness of the Lord in her life from little things to big miracles happened in her life. She was very thoughtful, always welcome you with a greet and smile. She always asked “Kumain knb?  We will never forget you Nanay. You will remain in our hearts forever. 

Nanay! Thank you so much for everything. For the Love, the Care.. How I wish I could Fly there to be with you on your last days with us! I love you Nanay Sonia! Rest in Peace po💞💞

you’ve shared with all of us and I am truly grateful with your kindness,generosity. -As coming from the bottom of my heart…,-I am humble and would never forget all the happy memories I’d share during those years with you. /When ever we’ve come & visits you,along with your son(Johnny & your grandkids). I’d miss out & I’m missing the most; is your absolutely Filipino cooking & you would prepare any kind of dishes to put on the table., All you’re grandchildren’s; all children gathering in your dining table & we will have two tables at you house for all of us eaten together. I remember the 1st filipino dished I’d eaten; when I used to see your (son)go visit your previous aprt. at “Bogert Ave., the most delicious “KARE-KARE” & I even learned to use my fingers/as everyone knows I have a good appetite & you would teased me/that I would gained.,but I’d love to eat your cooked food and (tatay would cooked my favourite lumpia Shanghai).  -I miss your seens of humour,specially when there’s gathering at your house, you were to sing your favourite song & you would dedicated to (tatay roger). /You would thought me how to follow the redeems, even thou I’m not good at singing.., you thought me to served responsibilities been/a wifely to you’re(son Johnny),mother to our/my childrens. Even thou I had deferent option on my own mindset, you’ve always/even your lecture us both.U we’re always advised to forgive & love each other/you would say no holds of grudges no matter what the circumstances in life.-Since you’ll never be forgotten,/a hollows place within my heart/memories where you’ll stay. -No farewell words were spoken,no time to  says “GOOD BYE” -You we’re gone before we all knew it, and Only God knows why..*WE ALL KNOW YOU ARE NOW IN A BETTER PLACE.,May you Rest Eternally in Peace..”M.S”

Ate Sonia is an amazing woman with a kindest heart and she has the ability to connect with anyone who crossed her path including me, her sister in law. her beautiful presence was a joy to witness especially during the Sunga family get together and she will surely be missed by many. My children and I can only imagine how much your children will miss you, especially Rowena your constant companion. You will always feel the deep loss but with God's love and blessing you will overcome your sadness.
