Ayo Adediji passed peacefully on February 28, 2021, after a five-week battle in ICU at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Holly, of 39 years, his children, Jacqueline, Jonathan, and Jordan. He is also survived by siblings Florence, Moses, Comfort, Benjamin and half-sister Ramota, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Ayo is pre-deceased by his parents Akano and Omolola Adediji, his sister Risikat, half-brother Tijani.
Ayo will be remembered as a loving husband and father. He was deeply committed to his church, community and country -- tirelessly campaigning in countless elections, ushering church services, keeping informed on all current events, and many trips between Canada and Nigeria. He was an avid sports enthusiast; hockey, football and soccer, a big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Manchester United. He LOVED to fish.
