Died at home in his 89th year surrounded by family and faithful dog Kasi. Dearly missed by his wife Patricia, three children, Clark, Barbara & Robert and four grandchildren Sydney, Morgane, Quentin and Patrick. Founding member of the Northern Ontario Martini Club and the Hambly School of Aggravation. Proposed to Pat in his red cedar strip canoe on Black Lake, and married the love of his life, on October 13, 1956. Ben was a true outdoorsman and loved being surrounded by nature, watching sunsets and gazing at the stars. A life long love of camp started at Layolamee followed by Kilcoo Camp in the Haliburton Highlands. A passionate hobby wood worker at heart, Ben created many pieces of fine furniture. Ben loved the cottage where summers were spent with family and friends and where he wanted to be right up to the end of his life. Ben's energy, enthusiasm, charm and great big smile were contagious and impacted all that he met.
He is greatly missed.
