After a long and courageous battle with Sclerodema, Benina passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Toronto Western Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Enrico Mario. Loving mother of Frank and his wife Paula, Silvana (Sylvia) and her husband Carmen Cinelli. Loving Nanna to Frank, Michael and his wife Sarah, Jessica and her husband Michael Longo, David and his wife Natalie and Eric and his wife Christina. Cherished great-grandmother to Layla, Olivia, Ava, Alex, Lucas, Mila and Tyler. Sadly missed by all of her family and friends in Canada, the U.S. and Italy. Friends may call on Monday, October 10th from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday October 11th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 12th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon R.C. Church (92 Steeles Ave. W). Entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Scleroderma Society would be appreciated.
