March 16, 1930 - March 10, 2011

Went to be with the Lord at the age of 80. A faithful servant of God, devout wife and mother.

Beloved wife of Ohannes "John". Loving mother of Arthur (Arpi), Barkev (Sonia), Lily (Edwin), Nevair, Mark (Carmela) and predeceased by daughter Lucy. Cherished sister of Samuel Toumayan (Barbara) and the late Manoushag. Adored grandmother of Jonathan David (Elise), Kristina, Michael, Luke, Rebecca, Grace, Matthew, Joshua and Benjamin. Fondly remembered by her nephews Vaughn and Gregory.

Betty will be remembered by many in her community as she volunteered as a pianist, bible teacher, prayer warrior and constant encourager by visitations and phone calls.

Friends may call on Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene (1875 Sheppard Ave. West). Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Armenian Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene.
