Diane passed away peacefully on May 31, 2009 in her home at the age of 69, after a lengthly and inspiring battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of Janice (Kurt Reiter), Nancy (Steve Millar) and Richard (Karen). Cherished "Grammy" of Matthew, Kevin and Stephanie and "Oma" of Jack. Dear sister of the late Shirley Andrews. Diane will be missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends; including her Tennis Group, Investment Club and the Bunka Group. Friends may call on Thursday, June 4, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Memorial Service will be held at the R.S. Kane Chapel on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
