Passed away peacefully at Hill House Hospice on Tuesday April 24, 2007 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Madeleine and loving father of Jill and her husband Donald Kowalchuk, Lesley and her husband Dale Mowat and Beth and her husband Gren-Erich Zwicker. Special grandpa to Jesse, Jamie and Leah. Dear brother of Thelma Borland and uncle to Nancy Hall and Diane Venner.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 26, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) or at the Bayview Country Club (25 Fairway Heights Drive, Thornhill) on Friday, April 27, 2007 from 3 to 5 p.m. A Private Service has been held followed by cremation.
