Proud World War II Veteran, 48th Highlanders of Canada. Retired TTC Driver of 33 years. Peacefully on March 19, 2009 at Peterborough Civic Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. Bruce was in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Jean Walker(nee Todd). Predeceased by his first wife Hilma Walker(nee Johanson). Lovingly remembered by the Walker family, "The McLaughlin Girls" and their families. Friends may call on Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at York Cemetery.
