Carol passed away suddenly at home after suffering a fatal heart attack. She is survived by her loving husband, Phillip, of 54 years and has gone to rest with her parents, Ida and Al Johnson who predeceased her. She is also survived by her brother, Bill, his children Ellen and Sarah, and brother-in-law, John (Helen) Collins and his children, Adam (Stephanie), Krista and Samantha (Cam).
Carol will be remembered as a loving wife, Aunt, Niece and Cousin who took her accidents and subsequent injuries in stride and always greeted friends and family with a smile even with a lifetime of pain. Despite these challenges Carol and Phil made a lovely home and enjoyed many trips and good times at their cottage. She worked as the Coordinator and Design Engineer for H.V.A.C. Consultants Inc.
A celebration of life will take place at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home – Thornhill on Saturday, July 26th, 2025 from 1pm-4pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in Carol's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Women's College Hospital Foundation.
