Catherine Pearl Kyle

We are heartbroken to share the passing of Catherine (Cathy) Pearl KYLE, who died peacefully on Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Toronto at the age of 66.

Cathy is survived by her children, Kyle and Katie and her favourite grandchild Sienna. She will be greatly missed by her siblings Wendy (Robert), Lynn (Norm), Steve (Penny), Doug (Val) and her former husband Peter, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly. We are finding comfort in her peacefully reuniting with Grandma and Grandpa.

Cathy will be so deeply missed. She was compassionate, kind and inclusive. She knew how to love and accept others and was always there for them. Her laughter was so contagious and she brought so much joy to everyone around her. In her younger years she loved to travel, ski, horseback ride, and in particular enjoyed spending time at the cottage with family.

Cathy lived a full life filled with gratitude, love, faith and family. She was very much looking forward to gathering together with family and friends and we’re honoured to be able to do so in her name this coming weekend.

A visitation for Cathy will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON L4J1W3, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.

Cathy was so much more than her battle with cancer. In her 23 year long journey she had an untold amount of visits to Sunnybrook and the Odette Centre. We are forever grateful for the gift of life they helped give her.

Cathy was a lifelong support of World Vision. A true citizen of the world she was always ever mindful of her blessings, even in the hardest of times and enjoyed helping everyone.
