Catherine Joy Stitt

Catherine Joy Stitt (nee Waterman) of Toronto, Ontario born April 18, 1933, died peacefully at the age of 90 on May 18, 2023.She is survived by her four children Susan (Tom), Janet, Ronald (Michele), Leslie Anne (Jonathan), and eight grandchildren Graeme (Marika), Claire (Sully), Reid, Fraser, Lauren, Hunter, Margot and Teagan. She was predeceased by her father Ronald Waterman (1976), her mother Alberta (1989), infant son Robert (1959), husband Dennis (2002) and loving dog Ralff (2002).

She lived her life with style and grace. Dedicated to her family, she was an excellent homemaker, and loved to entertain family and friends! She was also very sociable and active in her community. Many thanks to all the exceptional health care professionals involved in her care, and most of all to the staff at Delmanor Wynford who helped improve the quality of her life in the last few years.

As Catherine wished, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
