Charles Frederick Honein January 20th1935- November 3rd, 2019 Passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 84 years old on Sunday November 3rd, 2019. Beloved and devoted husband of 49 years of marriage to Josephine Honein, Loving father to Sandra and Michael (Nicole), and Cherished Gedo to Siena, Juliana and Carter. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends, Charles lived life to its fullest. He filled our lives and our hearts with love and kindness, and we leaned on him for his endless guidance, his inspiration and his genuine laughter. His love of music and his desire to celebrate life were contagious. “Work hard to play hard” was his life motto and when he wasn’t on call, working at the hospital or seeing patients at his medical office, you could always find Charles at the beach or at the pool soaking up the sunshine and heat with family and friends. He retired from medicine at the age of 83. He touched so many lives throughout his medical career and will be remembered for his unconditional care and support. Visitation will be held at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge St, Thornhill on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 11am until time of service at 1pm. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Charles, you will be missed by many as you have touched countless lives. I remember as a child playing with Sandra and Michael at your house and I will never forget our time together. My memories of those moments all these years later have remained with me and I will continue to carry them fondly with me for years to come. Thank you for being you.
My deepest condolences to the family.
Most sincerely,

Fina, Sandra and family,
We send our condolences for the loss of your wonderful husband, and father. Bonds of love such as the one that you shared with Charles are forever lasting. God took him into his loving arms and he is with you forever. He is especially looking down from Heaven to keep a watchful eye on his grandchildren. We wish you peace and continued embraces of love. Although we did not know Charles well, he lives through the bounty of his love for his family. We are thinking and praying for you all.
With love and sympathy,
Francie, Paul, Liam and MaryGrace Telesco

Charles was one of the original colleagues I met at The Medical Clinic for Person-Centred Psychotherapy back in 1996. I have held a fondness for him over the years as we would chat in the hallway about life and holiday plans. His endearing kindness and interest will always stay in my memories.

The sad news of your departure all of a sudden broke our hearts. We just got to know you and found the pleasure of your company and your jokes and laughter. We wanted it to last. But you’re now in a better place looking over your family and friends. God bless your soul, till we meet again Charles, we’ll miss you
