Chris was a genuine man. Loyal and loving, strong and supportive and fun to be with. Always up for an adventure, big or small. He loved the outdoors, country drives and day trips cycling in the city and even shopping! Creative and artistic, he loved music and playing guitar and had an impressive guitar collection. He was independent and hard working with an excellent work ethic. He had a compassion towards animals and was protective, intelligent, and witty. And most memorably, he had a heart of gold.
Those who knew Chris will remember him as a skilled tradesman who could build and fix anything. He enjoyed creating things and was so incredibly talented, but he was also so incredibly kind. He would help anyone without expecting anything in return. He would often say “I don’t have much but at least I can help”. But he was so wrong. He did have much. He had what mattered. He was authentic and real. He was humble and giving. He was gentle and caring. He was considerate and thoughtful. He was understanding and so incredibly patient. He helped his friends and he helped his friends friends. He would drop everything the minute you needed him. He loved and he was loved and he was my best friend. He had the most beautiful heart and anyone who was around him could feel it and he left this world far too soon.
We miss you Chris. This world was a better place when you were in it. Rest in Eternal Peace Chris, RIP.
