Christina Halina Duggan

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Christina, Halina Duggan on January 17, 2023 in her home in Richmond Hill, Ontario, in which she lived together with her late husband of 34 years, Harry Duggan.

Although born in Wroclaw, Poland her fate brought her to Canada.

Christina was a great friend that loved sharing and hearing stories of the world. She was well travelled and had an appetite for learning.

Christina was a very successful Real Estate Agent with over 20 years of experience in her field. Licensed in May 1987, from the very early stages of her career she was a dedicated, reliable, person of her word and selfless agent. When she made a commitment, she always delivered.

Christina was a consistent recipient of annual sales awards. She received Re/Max’s Platinum and Excellence awards and is a member of the prestigious Re/Max Hall of Fame. In 2003 she was within the top 5 percent of all real estate agents in the GTA.

Most importantly, Christina was a true “people person” who had intuitive ability to listen with her heart. Her usual quote was:” I believe that everyone enters my life for a reason and because of that, I always give my very best.” Her personal belief was that if you give your time to charities it should not be advertised. Christina contributed a portion of each commission she earned to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Christina was an animal lover, an animal rights activist, a philanthropist, an avid chess player and an antic hunter, but most of all she was a very good and a very sincere Friend and it was always a great pleasure to spend time with her.

We are going to miss Christina dearly.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church, 92 Steeles Ave. West, Thornhill on Friday April 14, 2023 at 9:30am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill.
