Peacefully, with his daughter and son-in-law at his side, on Monday October 29th, 2007 at the North York General Hospital in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Doris (nee Steane) for over 54 years. Loving father of Linda and her husband Gus van Hal. Cherished "Grandad" of Ryan, Amanda and Justin. Al will be missed and lovingly remembered by his two sisters, nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends. Friends may call on Wednesday, October 31st, from 3-5 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held at St. Theodore of Canterbury Anglican Church (111 Cactus Avenue), on Thursday, November 1st, 2007 at 11 o'clock. No flowers please.
