David O'Callaghan

O'Callaghan, David Paul- Mr. O'Callaghan, age 50, passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side on Tuesday, August 05, 2008 at Humber River Regional Hospital in Toronto. He was born on May 10, 1958, the third child of his beloved mother Catherine O'Callaghan and his late father James Edward O'Callaghan, both from Ireland. He is survived by his loving family, son Liam O'Callaghan, Liam's mother Patricia Lim , his brother Seamus O'Callaghan and his sisters Mary Gallagher and Kathleen O'Callaghan. He is lovingly remembered by his dear friend and companion Josie Regino and her son Ryan Regino. David was employed with the Toronto School Board and as a young man was a professional boxer who trained out of the Landsdowne Boxing Gym. Visitation will be held between 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm on Sunday August 10th at R.S. Kane's Funeral home (6150 Yonge St. Toronto) . A funeral mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (24 Cheritan Ave, Toronto), on Monday August 11th at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The family expresses special thanks to Dr. Leona Rudinskas and the entire oncology staff at Humber River Regional Hospital.
